About us
Want to speak with more confidence, at work, in social situations, or anywhere else? Cork Toastmasters is a friendly public speaking and leadership club that has been helping people in Cork find their voice.
Our goal is simple: to give you a supportive place to practise speaking, get honest and encouraging feedback, and grow at your own pace.
Who we’d love to meet:
Anyone who wants to communicate better. That includes nervous first-timers, professionals preparing for presentations or interviews, people new to Cork looking to meet others, and experienced speakers who want to keep sharpening their skills. All backgrounds and ages are welcome.
What happens at our meetings:
Table Topics: short, impromptu speaking on surprise questions (optional for guests)
Prepared speeches from members working through the Toastmasters Pathways programme
Constructive evaluations that help every speaker improve
Plenty of laughs, a cuppa at the break, and great conversation
When and where:
We meet every second Tuesday at 8:00pm (arrive from 7:45pm) at the Maldron Hotel, 93 South Mall, Cork. Follow the Toastmasters signs once you enter the hotel.
Guests are always welcome: €10 at the door, no booking needed, and there’s no pressure to speak. Come along, watch, and see if it’s for you!
