Coronado Sailors

This is a group for anyone with some sailing experience (ASA101 preferred), who wants to add some hours on the water and gain more experience (and their friends and families just wont jump on a sailboat with them).

We will try to meet Saturdays or even during weekdays mornings, at the Glorietta Bay "Seaforth Boat Rentals", go around the bay, maybe dock at Harbor Island, or whatever we decide on the way.
With good wind, we can make it to Point Loma and back in 4 hours.

Please, make sure you look for the scheduled meetup!  We will not meet EVERY Sunday for sure.  I will let you know.

We sail on a Capri 22 or 25, which can fit 5 sailors at the most.
The cost will be split at the moment with whoever shows up. Since I am a member of the club, I get 50% their published rental fee. For a 4hr rental, it's about $80 total, between 5 sailors $16 each. Between 4=$20, 3=$26.70, 2=$40. Prices are subject to change. No credit cards accepted, bring cash only and be prepared to pay more than expected because there might be a cancellation.

Bring finger food and beverages, I will provide a cooler with ice.

Be ready for sun and cold wind. Bring a windbreaker jacket just in case, and sunscreen. Boating shoes are a must. No sandals and no dark soles. Boating shoes have a white or clear rubber sole.
