Join us to stay up to date with a wide range of classes and workshops on the dramatic art of Corporeal Mime. Known as "the art of the thinking body" Corporeal Mime is an artform which enables the actor to produce and sustain drama through the body alone. Even though Corporeal Mime has influenced much of the "physical theatre" movement, it's rare to get a chance to study the real thing. Kentaro Suyama and Tania Coke spent many years in London immersed in the art of Corporeal Mime and are now busy spreading the art here in Japan. Our workshops are open to all - no prior experience is necessary.

The Corporeal Mime School of Performing Arts invites you to Planet Me - a multi-dimensional portrait of eight lives intersecting in a far-flung but familiar galaxy.
The inhabitants are kept in orbit by the activities of their daily lives. As their bodies go through the motions their souls trace another path, circling endlessly around the suns of their individual desires. Planet Me is a celebration of life but not as you know it. Using the unique physical language of Corporeal Mime, as well as four spoken languages (Japanese, English, Chinese and Bengali) the actors bring to life the different dimensions of their existence, from the strange to the beautiful, the mundane to the magical, the personal to the universally shared.Performed by
