CorrelAid Cologne

We’re the Cologne chapter of CorrelAid, a network of volunteer data enthusiasts using their passion for social good.

We team up with non-profit organizations on project-based collaborations – helping them make sense of their data, measure their impact, and tackle real-world challenges.

Based in Cologne, we connect data enthusiasts, non-profits, and civic initiatives in the Bonn/Cologne/Düsseldorf area to work on local projects. From exploring open data to supporting community organizations, our goal is to make a measurable difference together.

This is the 2nd run of our hands-on workshop on DuckDB due to the number of people on Wait List last time! DuckDB is a database for analytics explicitly engineered to be simple, fast, feature-rich and free that runs on your laptop. This fits the bill when it comes to volunteer projects for nonprofits, where we often cannot afford the cloud. Too good to be true? Join this beginner-friendly workshop to try it out for yourself!
