Occult Feminism

Join the Corridor Men's Personal Growth and Development group on September 12th at 3:30pm in the 2nd Floor Conference Room of the Downtown Cedar Rapids Library for an in-depth look of Rachel Wilson’s Occult Feminism: The Secret History of Women's Liberation.
This session will thoroughly examine and build upon Wilson’s core thesis: that the feminist movement is fundamentally intertwined with esoteric and occult spiritualities, functioning as a deliberate rebellion against traditional orthodox structures and the nuclear family. We will explore Wilson's rigorous historical tracing from 19th-century Spiritualism and the Theosophical Society to the modern mainstreaming of New Age practices, Goddess worship, and the weaponization of the "witch" archetype.
