Celebrate Spring with the Guerilla Grafters! Valentine's workshop

Spring is coming! The sap is rising, and buds are bursting - time for a grafting workshop!

The Guerrilla Grafters (http://www.guerrillagrafters.org/) graft fruit bearing branches onto non-fruit bearing ornamental fruit trees around town. Over time, delicious, nutritious fruit is made available to urban residents through these grafts.

We aim to prove that a culture of care can be cultivated from the ground up. We aim to turn city streets into food forests, and unravel civilization one branch at a time.

We will demonstrate how to do the wedge graft on neighborhood trees. Attendees can receive a small fruiting scion and tips for where to find more.

No one turned away for lack of funds.
