vCISO Pathway: From Analyst to CISO

Every path we've walked this fall ends up in the same room: the one where somebody decides what a company spends on security, which risks it accepts, and how to explain all of it to people who don't speak cyber. That's the CISO's job.

A vCISO, or virtual CISO, does that job for companies that don't have or don't need a full-time one.

It's Veterans Day, which fits. Tyrone enlisted in the Army in February 1996, has spent the 30 years since in IT and cybersecurity, and today runs a vCISO practice. Tonight he walks you through that road and what the job really looks like once you get there.
