Theme: Check the event title!
Time: 5â7 minutes per story.
Extras: Mulled wine, cozy drinks, and snacks.
Entry: Free! Tips help cover the mic & Uber costs.Want to Tell a Story?
Hereâs how it works:
DO:
Tell a real story â something that actually happened.
Keep it 5â7 minutes.
If you go over, weâll flash a light.
Keep going past that? Weâll ring a bell.
Extra minutes = 1 point deducted.
Make sure your story has a beginning, middle, and end.
Include stakesâwhy we should care.
Be entertaining and real.DONâT:
No essays, rants, or life philosophyâthis is not group therapy.
No notes, reading, or paperâspeak from the heart.
No complainingâturn your drama into a story with a point.
After Each Story
Audience judges give a score.At the end, we announce the winner of the night!
