Newbies in Wonderland: Down the Rabbit Hole with a C++ Students Project

Details
Who better to unravel the typical troubles and pitfalls that C++ beginners face than the brave newbies themselves? These poor students at the university of applied science, Nicole and Beni, graded on their journey, are thrust down the rabbit hole into a fantastical realm of a group challenge, where they had to navigate a court of diva queens like Scrum, CMake, library management, cross-platform compatibility, missing compiler support, and many more. And we all know, the path from lofty goals to reality is strewn with pitfalls and classic blunders ("oh, that's a nice feature, why not apply it everywhere...")...
Let's glean insights from their adventures, learn from their missteps, and hopefully dive into a lively discussion on everything from learning C++ to the art of teaching it.
