About us
Welcome to Cradle O Earth - a community for people in Hyderabad who want to slow down, reconnect with nature's wisdom, and rediscover traditions that modern life has quietly erased.
We gather around a shared belief: that the knowledge carried by India's tribal communities, rural artisans, and forest traditions is not just heritage — it is medicine. It is practice. It is something worth living.
What we do together:
At our meetups, we explore ancestral wellness practices through hands-on, experiential gatherings. You might expect:
- Herbal ritual evenings — learning the science behind traditional foot soaks, herb blends, and detox practices passed down through generations
- Forest ingredient workshops — understanding raw honey, herbal extracts, and plant-based remedies from the perspective of both Ayurveda and modern nutrition
- Artisan storytelling sessions — hearing directly from rural women entrepreneurs and craftspeople about their traditions, their products, and their lives
- Conscious living circles — open conversations on sustainable consumption, reducing toxin load in daily life, and building routines rooted in natural intelligence
- Nature walks and foraging experiences — connecting with local green spaces and the plants that grow in them
Who is this for?
This group is for curious, grounded people — whether you are deeply into wellness or just beginning to question what you put on and in your body. You do not need any background. You just need to show up with genuine interest.
What you will leave with:
Every gathering is designed to give you something tangible: a practice to try at home, a new understanding of an ingredient, a connection with someone who shares your values, or simply a few hours of presence and meaning in a city that rarely slows down.
A word about our roots:
This community grew from the work of CradleOEarth (cradleoearth.com), a social enterprise that bridges rural women artisans across hundreds of Indian villages with conscious urban consumers. We are transparent about this connection — our events are not sales events, but the stories, people, and practices behind the products are the living curriculum we bring to every gathering.
Group rules:
- Come with curiosity, not commerce. This is a learning and connection space.
- Respect for all traditions — we draw from Ayurveda, tribal knowledge, Siddha, and forest wisdom without hierarchy.
- No recruiting, MLM, or unsolicited promotion of any kind.
- Be present. Phones down during experiences unless we are capturing something together.
We look forward to sitting in a circle with you soon.
