WORLD SAKE DAY OCTOBER 1st!

Welcome to the second edition of Sake Social, a sake odyssey for the “otakus” at heart. This year’s celebration will be hosted at the beautiful venue on Dempsey Hill, The Dempsey Project.
Join us on 1st October as we celebrate World Sake Day in conjunction with this special edition of Sake Social. Here are some of the highlights you can look forward to:

Sake Highlights:
“The Beginning”: Debut of a Junmai Daiginjo Kimoto Henpei 40 brewed by Adrian Goh, Singapore’s very first Sake Samurai!
Rare and Obscure Sakes: Sample some of the rarest and most obscure sakes, including Kimoto and Yamahai styles, Doburokus, natural sake, and even sake made in Singapore!

Immersive Experience:
Dive deep into fascinating conversations with our Sake Socialites and taste sake curated specially for both novice and seasoned enthusiasts.

Gourmet Spread by The Dempsey Project:
Enjoy a fantastic spread of food curated by the kitchen team led by Head Chef Wei Jie. Indulge in some of their best-selling menu items.

Best Dressed at Sake Social:
In true Nippon fashion, come dressed in a kimono, yukata, or other traditional Japanese costumes and stand a chance to win the Best Dressed prize!

Kanpai to World Sake Day:
Join us in a special Kanpai ceremony to commemorate World Sake Day 2024.

New This Year:
This year, we are introducing a token system to facilitate your tasting experience. Each ticket comes with tokens that you can use to redeem sample pours of sake specially curated for the evening

Redemption Rates: Redemption rates range from 1 token to 3 tokens depending on the sake.


Additional Tokens: If you need more tasting tokens, they can be purchased during the event.
