What we’re about

Most Thursdays! Bring your knitting, crocheting, embroidery, beading, noisemaker mending, fish-leather-wristwatch-band-making, numismatics, and any other projects you can dream up.

Are you new to knitting or crocheting?

We often, but not always, have an instructor present who can teach anyone to knit or crochet. If learning to knit or crochet is of particular interest to you please reach out on Meetup to confirm an instructor will be present.

About supplies for new knitters and crocheters

We have a good selection of free yarn you can choose from for your first project. We have “needles” you can learn on and take with you for free. The “needles” are sharpened chopsticks or pencils. If you want to learn to crochet, please bring a hook as we haven’t yet figured out how to MacGyver a crochet hook.

We also typically have a selection of real knitting needles you can learn on if you’re okay with transferring your work to a spare bit of yarn at the end of the session. You can always put it on another set of needles when you get them.

Hope to see you there!
