Who has craft supplies they should/need to get rid of?
Who has have unfinished projects they are never going to finish?
Who has finished projects that you don't know what to do with?
Who has office supplies they should/need to get rid of?
Who has school supplies they should/need to get rid of?
Most everything will be accepted.
Nothing illegal, explosive, dirty or moldy.
Items must be clean, unused, or gently used, and functional.
This is a free event however no hoarding, fighting, pushing, shoving, or yelling will be tolerated. Unless you're yelling about how awesome that marker set is!
Bring your items and a bag for your new goodies.
We will set everything out and take turns.
This will take place during our normal Saturday Craft MeetUp.
All items left over will be donated to Greener Goods in Arlington Heights (https://www.facebook.com/greenergoodreimagine/)

MARK MAKING: inks, pencils, paints, brushes, pastels, erasers, chalks, charcoals, markers, crayons, usable ink pads
FIBER: yarn, fabric, thread, embroidery supplies, knitting needles/crochet hooks, thread, patterns, ribbon, quilting tools, dressmaking, sewing machine tools, sewing notions
TOOLS: scissors, glue guns, soldering irons, craft knives, hole punches, easels, photo equipment, pottery tools, rulers, stencils, rulers, Silhouette tools, Cricut tools, paper cutters,
SUBSTRATES: canvas, watercolor paper, drawing paper, scratch boards, panels, sketchbooks, construction paper, newsprint, folders, lined paper, note paper, coloring books, junk journals, napkins for decoupage, stickers, ephemera
EXPENDIBLES: glue, tape, butcher paper, sandpaper, cotton swabs, toothpicks, popsicle sticks, google eyes, buttons, wire
CRAFTS: beads, jewelry findings, containers of all sorts, artificial flowers, foam, felt, scrapbooking supplies, stamps, ink pads, rhinestones
BOOKS: art/craft instruction books, art/craft magazines, patterns, and store bought crafting kits
If you can buy it at an Art store or Michael's, chances are it's a good fit.
We also ask that you leave the hazardous materials in your garage, including oil-based solvents, house paint, dry paint tubes, and stuff that is crazy heavy, etc.
If it cannot be used immediately and without rehabilitation as a crafting material, supply, or tool, please don't bring it.
So come find the tools to try a new craft, some project material that hasn't been available since 1986, or maybe even a replacement for that one tool they don't sell anymore.
