Meditative Open Craft Social
Details
Hey all, let's meet up! I was thinking of doing something both social and meditative. What do you all think about this:
5:30-6:30 pm -- social craft hour, chat and get to know each other, get some food or drinks, etc
6:30-8:00 pm -- settle into a quiet time of working on our individual craft/art projects (knit/crochet, drawing, painting, sewing, coloring, anything all welcome)
*drop-in anytime, leave anytime
I'm not sure if it's too rowdy at the Rayback for meditative crafting but let's give it a try!
If you don't have a project and want to do freeform paper cutting (like in the event pic) let me know when you RSVP and I can bring materials for you. I just ask for $5 to help cover supplies. It's fun and pretty meditative, I'll be doing it too.
Setting the RSVP limit to 8 (including me) for now since I'm not sure about the seating/table situation at Rayback
Btw, if anyone has suggestions for a nice chill place in Boulder that's open late with good seating space for groups, let me know! I've been looking and it's hard to find. Trident has a great vibe but it's always packed and I think it would be hard to get a table consistently.
