Art Together: 2hrs Art near Town Hall

It has always seemed that the best part about drawing is actually drawing, and the worst part about drawing is finding the motivation to get started. With that in mind, Art Together is a meet-up that strives to eliminate the inertia of getting started by creating a regular time for you to come and sit with others while you work on your own project. Enforced motivation through exposure and time commitment!

At this point in time we follow a similar format to Write Together, there are no prompts, no group exercises, just bring your own supplies to Cheers Bar on George St (just down the road from Town Hall), sit down and get going for two hours.

Should you find or bring a friend, it's not imperative that you work silently, but do respect the concentration of others.

You'll locate us in Cheers Bar, upstairs on the mezzanine level. We'll be at tables or in a booth or two. It's well-lit and warm for winter. You'll know us by our sketchbooks, paint boxes and tablets.

When the two hours are up, feel free to stick around for a drink with your fellow artists or hit the road, no worries.
