What we’re about
Purpose: Connect with others with an interest in exploring how things work and how they got to be the way they are in biology, geology, astronomy and related fields from a biblical worldview, specifically, that God created the universe and everything in it and is actively engaged with it.
Vision: Participants will meet regularly to encourage each other in their continued exploration of scientific discovery and how it can be understood within a biblical worldview. During meetings, participants will have opportunity to share what they have learned from their studies or ask the group questions. The meetings will also serve as opportunities to explore a topic together as a group and discuss. This may take the form of watching a presentation together, discussing something that participants agreed to read prior to the meeting, or surveying a collection of material available for the study of a particular topic. The group welcomes individuals that may not agree with a biblical worldview as long as they express an interest in learning more about that perspective. While thought provoking questions are encouraged, group meetings will not be a forum for debates between individuals entrenched in opposing viewpoints.
