Creative Arts Society is an an Austin-based, volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization promoting the development of the "Artist in Everyone" for more than 25 years. We provide exhibition and networking opportunities for our members. CAS Q2 Member Meeting: Photographing Your Artwork

At our quarterly CAS Member Meetings we have networking from 1:30-2:00, a short business meeting from 2:00-2:15, a topic of interest from 2:15-3:15, closing with a door prize raffle. We provide light refreshments. Non-members are welcome to drop in!

The Q2 2026 meeting will feature the topic "Photographing Your Artwork" led by current CAS President Ratha Grimes.

Have you struggled with glare in your artwork photos? Not sure what color management is, or if you need it? Are your photos sometimes washed out or not square to the borders of the image? This workshop will walk you through lighting, capturing, and editing your artwork photos for professional-looking results using free software.
