What we’re about
This group is for people interested in exploring code as a creative medium. It's also for helping people find creative collaborators. (AI stuff is off-topic)
"Who should join?"
- Anyone, at any skill level, who's interested in programming in the context of the arts—whether visual, or sonic, or tactile, or interactive, or whatever you happen to be interested in.
"What will we do at the mostly-causal, online and/or in-person events?"
- Show each other projects we're working on, casually or in structured show-and-tells
- Collaborate or help each other with projects
- Teach each other skills, informally or via workshops
- Program, sometimes wordlessly, in a shared space
- Make cool stuff
- Go to museums or galleries
- Haunt the library
- Play with a pen plotter (AxiDraw SE/A3)

Upcoming events (1)
See all- Casual Creative Coding Demo Day No. 112101 W 29th Ave, Denver, CO
Demo days are where people share creative coding projects at any state of progress—or just watch people give demos. They're relaxed events where people can get to know each other (and their projects).
We'll gather around a TV and everyone that wants to share a project'll get a few minutes, after which they can take questions. After everyone's shared we'll switch to a more freeform hang.
You don't need to show anything to attend.
See you soon!
Rough timeline
- Doors open at 1:30
- Demos start at 2:00
- Demoers get ~7 minutes, and a couple minutes if they want to take questions.
- Demos end at 3:15
- Hang out until 4:30 or until everyone decides to disperse, maybe get a beer
