First Creative Community Gathering

You are warmly invited to the first creative community gathering on Saturday 27.06 at 18.30h at Park Santa Catarina in Funchal.

Summer is officially here—a season for exploration, spontaneity and hot times.
After living in Berlin for 11 years, one of the things I miss most is the sense of community and the ease of meeting people through creative gatherings and shared fun experiences. Madeira is a beautiful island, and as a newcomer myself, I've realized that finding your people here can take a little more intention.

This gathering is a simple attempt to bring together the creative, curious, sensitive, adventurous, poetic, playful and wonderfully complex humans of the island.
A space where we can meet, share stories, passions, ideas, and perhaps discover that we're not the only ones looking for a little more connection, inspiration and belonging.

Whether you're into photography, writing, dance, music, filmmaking, design, entrepreneurship, personal growth, nature or simply enjoy open-minded people you are welcome.
And if you don't consider yourself particularly creative, but feel drawn to self-expression, authenticity or community, you are welcome too!

There is nothing you need to perform, achieve or prove.

We'll begin with a short introduction circle, followed by a few playful and creative activities to brake the ice and connect.
After that, there will be plenty of time for free-flowing conversations, mingling and whatever spontaneous magic may emerge.

Feel free to bring something to sit on, a drink, a snack or your imaginary friend.
*Optional: bring a notebook, pen or sketchbook for some of the creative exercises.
