Creative Junk Therapy is a 501c3 non-profit creative reuse center in Brandon, Florida. Our mission is to promote creativity, environmental awareness, and community through reuse.
What We Do: We collect materials from local businesses and individuals and offer these reclaimed resources for educators, artists, makers, and students through a variety of opportunities.
Why We Do It: Creative Junk Therapy was created as a space for all people to find and enjoy their community through creativity. We promote creative expression, environmental awareness, and community engagement through education, reuse, and the arts.

Join award winning watercolorist Roxanne Tobaison for this hand on watercolor workshop. We will be exploring intermediate to advanced watercolor techniques and processes. Students should understand basic watercolor concepts for this class.

It's fall and time to get your craft on! We have a variety of materials for you to upcycle, reimage and recreate. Need inspiration? We can help! We will have examples and creative concepts to share.
Cost is $7per maker, supplies included. BYO special additions for you own unique piece.This is a family friendly , feel free to bring snacks and your beverage of choice (yep, alcohol is ok) . Unruly children and irresponsible adults will need supervision.

Upcycle buttons, beads, and other do-dads to create a one-of-a-kind collage masterpiece!
About this event
Elaine guides you through the process of choosing and layering pieces to create a dimensional unique image or scene with found objects, trinkets and junk! She will have samples art for ideas and inspiration.
Each participant receives a bag of random buttons, beads and trinkets with a base. Additional supplies may be purchased from Elaine or shop in CJT before the class to find special treasures or different bases. You can also BYO junk for a personal touch.
Cost is $25 includes base and basic supplies . Add on supplies $5 for more options or BYO for a personal touch.
Ages 12 and up.
