About us
The Creative Lines Sketching and Social Group is a place to get out of the house, find a bit of inspiration, and spend some time drawing alongside others who enjoy the process. We are a casual collective of people with varying levels of experience, ranging from those who are just picking up a pencil for the first time to those who have been sketching for years. Our goal is simply to create a low-pressure environment where we can work on our own projects while enjoying the company of fellow creatives.
We usually meet in different spots around the city, like parks, cafes, or public spaces, to draw for an hour or two. After we wrap up our sketching time, we often hang out to share what we worked on, talk about our process, or just chat about life. There is no formal instruction or critique unless you ask for it; it is really just about showing up, putting pen to paper, and connecting with people in your neighborhood who share an interest in art. If you are looking for a friendly, quiet way to spend a few hours, we would love to have you join us.
