Sturgeon Moon over Freedom Tower from 13.4 miles!

The moon will line up behind the Freedom Tower from our shooting location on 8/8/2025 at 8:08 PM. It will appear to have a diameter of 640 feet! The sun will set a few minutes before the moon is behind the tower.

You will need a minimum of 400-500mm lens for this shoot. The shooting location is in West Orange, New Jersey. Registered participants will receive directions to the meetup.
