Event Format

  1. Warm-up & Cleanup
    • Start with 5–10 minutes of light stretching.
    • Form small groups and spend about 30 minutes walking along the beach, collecting plastic bottles (a great way to combine light cardio with meaningful action). Since the beach we’re visiting has quite a number of plastic bottles—I noticed this during a recent visit—this cleanup will be impactful. Tools such as garbage-picking clamps will be provided.
  2. Main Training Session (1 hour)
    • Engage in a proper workout using slam balls and outdoor CrossFit-style exercises. Equipment will be provided.
  3. Cooldown
    • Gather the collected trash and take a group photo to celebrate the effort.
    • Conclude with 5 minutes of gentle stretching to relax and recover.
