Seletar Nature/Urban Walk & Dinner

Hi there!

Join us in August for this urban/nature walk and dinner event in the north-east region of Singapore:

• Urban walk along Jalan Kayu and through Seletar Colonial Estate featuring heritage black & white colonial houses
• Nature walk and bird-watching at Hampstead Wetlands Park
• Bus-ride to Jalan Kayu
• Dinner around Sengkang area

We'll be starting somewhere near Thanggam LRT station (SW4); the exact meeting spot will be announced on the event date on Telegram.

We'll set off at 4.30pm (be there at least 10 minutes earlier for attendance-taking). The walk from the meeting point to Hampstead Wetlands Park will be around 30 minutes (less than 2km). Then it will be free and easy for everyone to explore this nature park, do some bird-watching, take photos and chill. We will leave the park at 6pm to catch a bus to Jalan Kayu, then walk a bit to somewhere in Sengkang to have dinner together.

For this event, there is limit of 12 participants, so do sign up soon. RSVP will close one day before the event date. If there are any urgent messages or updates, we'll communicate through the Telegram group.

(Note: To create a safe space for all participants to interact and make friends, please do not promote your business / products / services during this event.)

What to bring:
- Good walking shoes (expect to step on muddy ground especially if raining or after a rain)
- Drinking water
- Insect repellent
- Hat or cap
- Umbrella or rain-coat (in case of rain)
- Binoculars for bird-watching
- EZ-Link card or alternatives to pay for bus-ride
