Fort Canning Walk & Dinner

Hi there!

Join us in September for this walk and dinner event to explore the colonial history of Singapore:

• Fully sheltered walk through the underground and overhead walkways at SMU
• Nature and historical walk at Fort Canning Park (including the Spice Gallery and Garden, Fort Canning Heritage Gallery @ Fort Canning Centre, etc.)
• Walk through Istana Park
• Dinner at Taste Orchard

Please note that this is a rain-or-shine event and we will proceed with the walk if there is light rain; we will adjust the itinerary if there is heavy rain and/or thunderstorm.

We'll be starting somewhere near Bras Basah / Bencoolen MRT stations; the exact meeting spot will be announced on the event date on Telegram.

We'll set off at 4.00pm (be there at least 10 minutes earlier for attendance-taking). The walk will be around 1 hour (less than 5km). We will also stop over at Fort Canning Centre for about 30 minutes.

For this event, there is limit of 15 participants, so do sign up soon. RSVP will close one day before the event date. If there are any urgent messages or updates, we'll communicate through the Telegram group.

(Note: To create a safe space for all participants to interact and make friends, please do not promote your business / products / services during this event.)

What to bring:
- Good walking shoes (expect to climb up and down steps and slopes at various points of the walk)
- Drinking water
- Insect repellent
- Hat or cap
- Umbrella or rain-coat (in case of rain)
