Yeah, it’s a little off-topic, but isn’t everything related to physics in some way? (Apparently, plant pollen actually jumps onto bees while they chug nectar due to a difference in electric potential; the bees become positively charged while in flight and the plants have a slight negative charge at the flowers!) Anyway, I just put this here in case anyone’s interested in wild plant foraging. The class will be Thursday June 4 & 11 (tentatively 10-noon, but that may change). You can come to either or both sessions if you like. The catalog for summer semester should be released soon with the correct schedule.

This event is part of the Roane State Community College Center for Lifelong Learning and you’ll need to register to attend. It’s $20 for the semester or $40 for the next year (price includes other classes if there are any others you want to take.) I’m a volunteer presenter this semester. See www.Roanestate.edu/CLL for more details and to register.
