Project Hail Mary Physics

Any Andy Weir fans out there? I’m giving a presentation about some of the physics behind his fantastic book Project Hail Mary. (Movie was great too, but I’m hoping there’s going to be a four hour director’s cut!) Tentatively scheduled for 10-noon on Thursday June 25 (catalog with schedule should be available soon.)

This event is part of the Roane State Community College Center for Lifelong Learning and you’ll need to register to attend. It’s $20 for the semester or $40 for the year (price includes other classes if there are any others you want to take.) I’m a volunteer presenter this semester.
