Mystery Wine and Cheese Party
• What we'll do Back by popular demand! Join Greg and Michele for a fun night of mystery and tasty samples! Come out to a Mystery Wine & Cheese party at their house at 8:00 PM. Bring a bottle of wine (white, rose, dessert, or red) and a block of cheese for everyone to taste. The bottles will be put into brown bags and the cheese on unmarked plates so no one knows what brand/grape/cheese they are. Then, everyone will taste the wines and cheeses to rate them. Michele will supply the brown bags. The winning wine and cheese will receive a prize. Bringing the worst wine and cheese is also a special honor. You may bring beer if wine isn't your drink of choice. Please be prepared to try some great wines and cheeses and have a fun time with friends. Michele will supply additional snacks to complement the cheese as well. If you want to come but prefer not to try the wine, please bring another beverage of your choice. Make sure to RSVP so Greg and Michele can send you their address! • What to bring A bottle of wine and a chunk of cheese or beverage of your choice. Smartphones are encouraged since the rating will be done with an online survey but a tablets and a computer are available for others who do not have a smartphone. • Important to know

What we're about

Public Group

The Charlottesville Social Professionals (CSP) originally was founded as the Charlottesville Young Professionals (CYP) in 1999 by a few area citizens with the support of some local businesses determined to attract and retain young professionals to the area. To communicate greater inclusiveness and diversity of membership, CYP officially became CSP in 2015. It's membership is open to adults of any age, race, ethnicity, gender, religious background, sexual orientation, and ability.

CSP's mission is to attract and unite a group of active, civic-minded professionals who envision Charlottesville's future as continuing to be a great place to live, work, and play. Our members love to get together to enhance our lives and our community through camaraderie, patronage, learning, and charitable efforts. Most of all, we have fun!

Led by an elected Board of Directors with single-year terms, CSP is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Events and other membership benefits are made possible through sponsorship by local businesses and membership dues. Though allows anyone to join CSP's Meetup site without cost, official membership requires $30 annually if paid via cash or check or $31.20 if paid online via PayPal. Prospective members are welcomed and encouraged to attend a few events before committing to paid membership, so come check us out!
