Weekly Thursday Pickleball in Washington Park, Groton

Ever wanted to try pickleball? Join us this Summer on Thursdays at 5pm. I’ll have extra equipment available for anyone who doesn’t have equipment but have always wanted to try.

We’ll probably be able to occupy 2 courts, probably one beginner and one intermediate/advanced, so we’ll limit the group to 10 players. Everyone will be able to play by rotating in and also take breaks. I know a lot of pickleball groups are not very beginner friendly.

Whoever gets there closer to 5, please try and “reserve” 2 courts for us. Everyone should try to get there as close to 5 as possible as it is first come first serve.

Plan is to learn basic rules and how to keep score. A little warm up session with dinking practice and some longer shots, and then friendly games switching partners each game.
