CTC 100 miles to Ayrshire & return!

Details
Time for the annual CTC 100 mile ride. This time to the seaside and back.
For those who are interested but not sure if they can manage the whole 100miles, there are train station options near much of the route, particularly at Kilmarnock, Troon and Irvine for those that might want to do the first part of the route and get the train home or join the route there to cycle home.
There's also an option to join the ride on a circular 50 mile ride to & from Kilmarnock railway station (leaving the main group at Irvine to return to Kilmarnock)
Meet at 8 am to move off at 815 am. The route will leave People's Palace, Glasgow Green. Will be heading through the Southside to A77 cycle route to Kilmarnock, picking up the Kilmarnock to Irvine cycle path, some Ayrshire country roads and returning via the cycle path to Lochwinnoch and Paisley back to the People's Palace. This avoids most of the hilly bits!!
There will be a couple of short banana stops, and stops at Dean's Castle cafe and Lochwinnoch visitor centre, or main Street cafes. Depending on numbers might be best to bring your own lunch as well use the Cafés.
The pace will be moderate averaging 10-12mph. The route is moderately hilly to begin with but the return 50 is fairly flat. Length 100 miles. There is one hilly section taking in the corner of Eaglesham Moor but this can be by-passed by staying on the A77 route for those who want to save their legs. The route is below:

Please ensure you have plenty of water, energy bars etc and appropriate clothing for the weather, as well as spare tubes and puncture repair kit for your bike.
Please leave a comment if you intend meeting up anywhere other than the start at People's Palace.
Ride will be subject to change, if the weather is not favourable. Any updates will be posted.
