Moor Tour
Details
The ride will leave Cambuslang Train Station Park & Ride car park at 1030 A.M. Train leaves Glasgow Central at 1005 arriving Cambuslang at 1018. (Kirkhill train station is also nearby so can pick up people there en route - just let me know.) We will head out to Cathkin Braes, on country lanes, over the Eaglesham Moor and return via Waterfoot. The pace will be moderate, and will have significantly hilly sections. Length 40 miles. Don't let the hills put you off as they are spaced out with recovery time in between and some lovely downhills. The ride crosses over itself so can also be cut shorter due to weather or if you're just out of puff😂!! Lunch stop will be at the Visitor Centre at Eaglesham Moor - bring your own lunch or use the Café.
