Tuesday ride on Bute isle

A scenic cycle around beautiful Bute, with lunch at Ettrick Bay and afternoon in Argyll.

Meet at Glasgow Central at 08.25 to catch the 08.47 for Wemyss Bay, connecting with the 10.05 ferry for Rothesay. Cycle clockwise around Bute to stop at Ettrick Bay Cafe at mile 21 https://ettrickbay-tearoom.store/

Then short ferry to Colintraive and, via Argyll's Secret Coast, to Glen Tarsan and back to Hunter's Quay for ferry and train connections back to Glasgow. 49 miles, moderately hilly.

Please bring water, basic snacks and tools. Ettrick bay is a lovely spot for sandwiches, or has the cafe. Subject to change, in worst case cancellation due to weather (though currently looking good for Tuesday.)
