Welcome to the CTC Glasgow Rides Group

We offer friendly moderate-paced group cycling for Cycling UK members. We cycle on a regular basis and anticipate you become a frequent participant of our cycles and group.

Our rides are about community, fitness, and the shared enjoyment of cycling. To keep our rides welcoming and focused on these goals, we ask all participants to refrain from making diversity-related, political, or other potentially divisive statements.

We celebrate the diversity of our members by creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable, safe, and respected. Please keep conversations positive, inclusive, and centred on cycling and the joy of the ride.

Our ride leaders are volunteers who generously give their time to make these events possible, if riders disregard this, leaders may choose to step back from leading rides, and ultimately the whole group will suffer.

If a rider does not follow this, they will first be given a friendly, informal reminder by the ride leader. If the behaviour continues, they may be asked to leave the ride.

* Before joining us for a ride please note carefully of the following.

* Riders should be self-sufficient in the event of breakdown (breakdown tools & spares or phone to arrange pick-up)

* Please be prepared to bring along your own refreshments/food as café stops are likely not possible.

* If details indicate that you have not cycled with CTC on a regular basis or become a Cycling UK member after 3 CTC rides, we will remove you from the group. You may rejoin with the expectation you are an active member and join Cycling UK
