Warhammer 40k Game Day @ UUCCHC

Curious about Warhammer 40K? Already deep in the lore? Somewhere in between?

Come spend the day exploring the wonderfully over-the-top universe of Warhammer 40K, painting a tiny warrior, learning the basics, and sending your newly decorated war dolly into glorious tabletop battle.
No experience is needed. Seriously. You do not need to own an army, know the rules, or understand why everyone keeps talking about heresy.

We’re creating a relaxed, inclusive, beginner-friendly space where people can:
• Learn a little about the world and lore of Warhammer 40K
• Try painting a miniature
• Watch or join a tabletop game
• Meet other local gamers
• Ask questions without feeling like you should already know everything

Experienced players are absolutely welcome too. Bring your enthusiasm, your knowledge, your minis, and your willingness to help newer folks discover the hobby.

Also coming up: Paint & Prep Day, Saturday, September 26
Want to help us get ready for the big game day? Join us for a casual paint-and-prep gathering where we’ll work on miniatures, terrain, and other game-day materials together. It’s a great way to meet people before the October event and get a little practice in.

Both events are hosted by the growing UUCCHC Gaming Guild at the Unitarian Universalist Community Church of Hendricks County.
You do not have to be a church member, religious, or even particularly sure what Unitarian Universalism is. You just need to be willing to share the table, be kind to the humans around it, and have some fun.

Come for the lore. Stay for the tiny plastic warriors. And yes, we are fully aware of the delightful irony of hosting a universe where heresy is canon inside a UU church. We’re choosing to consider that extremely on-brand. 😄
