Join me for a tour of Detroit's 'Little Venice' by kayak. We will explore the canals of the Jefferson Chalmers neighborhood of Detroit, venture out on the Detroit River while learning about some of the influential people of Detroit's history and the significance of the the Detroit River to the region. The tour is approximately 2 -2.5 hours including gear distribution and safety talks. Bring water, sunscreen, sunglasses and hat. The tour goes out rain or shine, except in the case of severe weather. In the event of inclement weather, the tour will be rescheduled or you can request a refund.
Some kayaking experience is helpful but not necessary. This is a beginner friendly tour.

After the tour, we can meet for food and drinks at Coriander Kitchen and Farm, conveniently located right next door to Detroit River Sports. Dinner service starts at 5 though they will be open for drinks when the tour ends.
