Annual Donation Drive

Hello CCC group!
This is NOT AN IN PERSON EVENT BUT SIMPLY A WAY TO BRING ATTENTION TO THE DONATION
I am sure you have all heard about prices going up on everything and that includes Meetup Organizer fees. It is a big burden for one person so your participation in helping with the fees and if possible some day hosting events is so important.
Please consider your generous support for this meetup group. We have bought like minded individuals together for the past 12 years!
Once you donate, I will change your status of wait list to going to show you paid!! -- a big Thank You!
We are asking for a $10 donation or whatever you can afford.

Reflecting over that time we have met many people, some who are still active and friends, others who have disappeared for a variety of reasons.
The goal for doing this so long aligns with the Meetup corporate goal... to help reduce loneliness in our world. Attending meetups is only the beginning to achieving a social network and finding your "Tribe". We all need substantial caring friends to make our lives richer and add to our physical and emotional health! I hope by providing this platform some of you have found what you need.... If not do not lose hope/ Keep trying to find where you fit in!
May you all continue and ENJOY using the Culture Cuisine Conversation Meetup to achieve these important goals. This group is under the same umbrella as the Birmingham and Beyond group which has the same request in place right now. You DO NOT need to donate twice.

We do have one of the more dynamic groups in the Detroit Metro area.
Our incredible hosts are doing a lot of work out of sheer kindness on their own time! There are semi annual fees charged to continue this group; your contribution will help offset these fees and if we can raise even more money it will provide options for more creative meetups as well!
