Loving and being loved is something most everyone strives to do and have in their life. Sometimes, if our love isn’t returned or isn’t appreciated, we put up a protective shield so that we won’t get hurt. It’s a natural reaction but it works against us and keeps more love from going out and coming in. We sit and wait, hoping that love will descend upon us, but it rarely happens that way. To get love, we must give it and learning to give it unconditionally keeps it flowing in our life. It nurtures us and it heals us and it touches those in our life.
