About us
Centered in Southeast Texas, this group is comprised of anyone who is curious about Christianity and wants to explore via discussion and study with others:
The group welcomes anyone who has questions, hesitations, doubts, struggles, past experiences (good or bad), or simply a desire to understand Christianity more deeply.
We focus on:
• honest questions without judgment
• exploring Christian ideas in accessible, non‑dogmatic ways
• connecting historical, literary, and ethical perspectives
• making room for doubt, complexity, and personal experience
No prior knowledge or belief is expected. The goal is not conversion but curiosity -- a chance to think together about how Christian stories, practices, and ideas are best understood and/or applied. We are not affiliated with any particular denomination (or non-denomination), and indeed many of our members are atheists, agnostics, seekers, believers, zealots and those otherwise dispersed across the spiritual spectrum.
We'll plan to meet on a biweekly basis to discuss issues that are proposed by members-- there's no set curriculum or authority.
