About us
What if neighbors actually knew each other?
Nörd Commons is a forming multigenerational cohousing community in the Twin Cities for people seeking more connection, collaboration, and belonging in everyday life.
We believe home can be more than just a house. Cohousing is an intentional way of living that combines private homes with shared spaces, meaningful relationships, and a neighborhood designed to support real community. It’s a way of living where people know their neighbors, share resources, gather together, and actively shape the culture of the community they call home.
This Meetup group is for anyone curious about:
• Cohousing and intentional community
• Building deeper connection and belonging
• Multigenerational living
• Collaborative and community-centered lifestyles
• The future of housing and neighborhood design
• Exploring Nörd Commons as a potential future home
Whether you are simply curious about cohousing or seriously considering joining a forming community, you are welcome here.
Through info sessions, social gatherings, virtual events, and site tours, we invite you to explore what it might look like to help create a different kind of neighborhood — one built around connection, participation, and shared values.
Nörd Commons is currently in formation, which means there is still meaningful opportunity to help shape the vision, culture, and future of the community.
If you’ve been longing for more connection, more intention, and a stronger sense of belonging where you live, we’d love for you to join us.
