Big Talk - Skipping small talk and connect with people

Big Talk began as one woman's quest to go out, meet new people, and skip the small talk to make more meaningful connections with them. You can watch her talked about it here.

In this event, we will make use of the question cards she crafted, to reflect and share our thoughts and experiences in a fun and engaging way. We hope through this process, everyone will be able to broaden their perspectives and get to know themselves and one another better.

Agenda / What You'll Experience

💬 Round 1: Reflect and Share

Everyone will pick 3 cards and select 1 to answer. Others can share their own experiences if they wish to. The round will end when everyone has finished answering their selected question card.

💬 Round 2: Focused Sharing and Discussions

The host will randomly reveal 4 cards from the deck. Everyone will choose to answer any one question among the 4. After everyone has answered, another set of 4 cards will be revealed again. This process will repeat until the cards run out or out of time.

💬 Final Thoughts and Feedback

In the last 10 minutes of the event, we'll reflect on the key insights, memorable moments, and takeaways from the evening's discussions. It's an opportunity to distill the shared knowledge and leave with a deeper understanding of the topics explored.
