About us
Cumberland Valley Nature Walks
Walks across the Cumberland Valley — Camp Hill, Lemoyne, Mechanicsburg, Carlisle, Boiling Springs, and further out when something's worth the drive.
The best conversations I've had, with other people and with myself, have happened while walking. Some walks here will be full of talk. Some will be quiet. Both count.
What to expect
Walks on weekend days. Early morning walks, before the day properly starts. Rain-or-shine walks. Winter walks. Distances and difficulty vary and every event says which, so you can pick what suits you — some are an easy hour on flat ground, some are longer and steeper.
I organize this alongside my Little Brother through Big Brothers Big Sisters, and we'll run kid-friendly hikes periodically. Those are shorter, gentler, and built for families.
Who it's for
Anyone who wants more time outdoors and company while they're in it. You don't need gear, experience, or a good level of fitness — just shoes you don't mind getting muddy.
