What is this software security thing people keep talking about? Why should we care about it? And really, honestly, what do you people DO all day?

We’re going to talk about some of the common things people do to help make software suck less, and what they are actually good for (and terrible at). We’re also going to veer off occasionally (but not randomly!) into some of the best practices I’ve picked up during my years working security.
