Cybersecurity Talk with Devin T. Byrd, Sr. Malware Reverse Engineer

Devin (https://www.meetup.com/members/216262298/) started his career in computers by taking computer aided drafting and design classes then studied computer electronics and telecommunication technology in college. Devin (https://www.meetup.com/members/216262298/) has been an avid mac user since he got his first mac in 2005. He started with Webroot in 2013 and quickly became a 'go to' person for Apple related issues for their support team.

He was promoted to the threat research department in 2014 to assist with mac client's detection system. He left Webroot in 2016 after helping bring their detection rating to 100% in AV Testing to join Cylance. He was brought on at Cylance as Sr. Malware Reverse Engineer to help assist in building out the mac product. He currently reverses mac malware and work with our Data Science team to determine new and better ways for our AI engine to detect threats.
