The Cycle Breakers Book Club is a quarterly gathering for women who are breaking cycles, doing the inner work, and choosing a new path forward. Hosted at The Bloom Room in Warwick, RI, this casual and conversation-style book club is all about connection, reflection, and growth—without the pressure.
Each quarter we dive into a self-help or personal growth book that sparks meaningful dialogue. Our October pick is Mean Girls Grown Up: Adult Women Who Are Still Queen Bees, Middle Bees, and Afraid-to-Bees by Cheryl Dellasega, PhD—a powerful exploration of how childhood dynamics show up in adulthood and how we can move beyond them.
Expect a warm, small, and intimate setting where you can share insights, ask questions, and connect with like-minded women who are also committed to healing and evolving. Come as you are, leave feeling seen, supported, and inspired.

Tickets sold through The Bloom Room here or through PayPalJoin us for our October Cycle Breakers Book Club as we dive into Mean Girls Grown Up by Cheryl Dellasega, PhD. This eye-opening book explores how the subtle and not-so-subtle dynamics of girlhood bullying often reappear in adulthood—whether at work, in friendships, or even in family systems. Dellasega offers insights and strategies to help women recognize toxic behaviors, set healthier boundaries, and transform relationships with compassion and clarity.
This book club is designed for people who are intentionally breaking cycles—from inter-generational patterning to harmful relational dynamics—while cultivating healthier, more authentic ways of connecting.
Cohosting will be my dog Lily! A cute, cuddly, and grounding companion to help balance out the seriousness of breaking generational curses 🐶
We are thrilled to be partnering with Stillwater Books in West Warwick, RI, where participants can support a local independent bookstore and pick up their copy of the book. (They’ve set aside enough copies just for our group!)

- A suggested reading schedule will be provided for those who like structure
- At our gathering, we’ll discuss the book, explore its themes, and reflect on how they connect to our own experiences
