Turnball Canyon Hike in Whittier

Join our hike in Whittier on the Turnball Canyon Trail. This hiking area offers view of the city, old water tower and Chinese building, so come and get some exercise.

The hike is easy 6 miles roundtrip to the top of the trail. FYI, we can park for free across by Hoover Elementary School. Watchout for permit required sign and do not park there.

QUALIFICATIONS:
This is a beginner hikes so anyone is welcome. You can turn around anytime.

MEETING PLACE AND TIME:
Arrive at 8:45 AM to park your car and get ready for the hike. There is free parking across from Hoover Elementary School. Do not park by the Turnball Canyon Trailhead or other residential.

Meet Patrick at 9 AM by the Hoover Elementary School.
We will depart at 9:00 AM.

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES:
RSVP: If you can't come please change your RSVP to "No" so we are not waiting for you.
WATER and FOOD: Please bring least 2 liter water for 6 mile hike. Bring water to drink so you don't get dehydrated and food to eat, such as a protein bar, in case you get hungry.
CLOTHES: It is recommended to wear a hat, hiking shoes with enough traction and sunblock.
