Tour de Montreal - A day trip to Montreal

Details
This is an all day trip. We will leave Ottawa at 7:30 am and drive to our starting point at Parc de la Grande-Anse. Please arrive by 9:45 so we can depart by 10. https://maps.app.goo.gl/jcoJefQ3jce8r4Ei8
> Start time for cycling is 10 am.
> Total distance is estimated at around 85 km (depending on construction detours - it is Montreal after all).
> This will be a scenic cycle tour mostly on bike paths and separated bike lanes (that can get busy). When able to, we will travel at speeds of 23-27 kph so you must be capable of cycling this distance at these speeds.
We will start in Pointe Claire at Parc de al Grande-Anse, there is lots of parking there. We will ride the paths along St. Lawrence River to downtown Montreal. The race track is open so we can do a lap there. Bring something to eat and drink for a picnic lunch in the 'Vieux-Port de Montréal' area or buy something from a vendor. After our lunch we will cycle out to the Olympic Stadium and then up to the look-out on Mont-Royal. Then we will head down the west side follow the Lachine Canal to return to our vehicles. We can stop at any of the restaurants along the way back if people choose.
I don't expect to be cycling in the dark but, depending on how long we spend being tourists, it can start getting dark so it would be wise to bring along your front and rear bike lights, just in case.
