The Toronto Czech Language Meetup Group is for everyone who enjoys speaking Czech or Slovak, supports meetings with people who have the same interests, and to make new friends.

Virtual Czech/Slovak Cooking Classes

Back by popular demand, Masaryktown Memorial Institute (MMI) has organized a monthly cooking program highlighting Czech and Slovak dishes. Chef Stephanie Pacheco, with over 15 years of cooking experience, will lead the workshop. She will take you through the steps needed to make these traditional dishes.

Scheduled at 3PM on the third Sunday of each month; starting on March 21st 2021. The class duration will vary in length (between 2 and 3 hours) and menu detailed below.

-Fruit dumplings with fillings (Cheese, blueberry)

-Svickova

-St Nicolas Day Christmas cookies
-Linzer cookies (jam filling)

Once you register, you will receive the recipes, list of ingredients, as well as a list of cooking tools/utensils that you will need to have on hand in order to cook along with the LIVE demo. You will receive the zoom link closer to the date of each class.
