Let’s meet in the morning this time! Microsoft brings Borko Novakovic (https://cz.linkedin.com/in/borkonovakovic) - a top SQL Server expert - to Prague and he is going to share some exciting news about Microsoft Data Platform.

Borko Novakovic has been working as a Senior Program Manager in Database Systems group at Microsoft for more than 5 years now. He is currently focused on the application scenarios that big enterprise customers try to achieve in Azure SQL Database. During his career in Microsoft, Borko was involved in several product improvements in programmability and query performance troubleshooting areas, working on Temporal Tables and Query Store for SQL Server 2016 and Azure SQL Database as well as in Microsoft Analytics Platform System and HDInsight.

Among topics discussed will be new data services inside Azure data stack, Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning and new features of upcoming version SQL Server 2017 (including Linux support).
