Join us for a casual picnic at Lake Merritt in Oakland - we’re going potluck-style! 🥘

Bring any food, snacks, and/or drinks you’d like to have, grill, and share.

We will also be collecting supplies for Border Angels (https://www.borderangels.org/).

They’re an amazing volunteer organization and their Bay Area chapter is making a caravan to Tijuana on July 13th to provide much-needed supplies to migrant families living in shelters while waiting for asylum interviews.

If you’d like to donate, here is a list of items you can bring to the picnic that would be a huge help!

dish soap, laundry soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, body wash, razors, pads, toilet paper, deodorant, body lotion, socks, new underwear (men's, kids, women's), tents, lightly used shoes, backpacks, suitcases, new makeup, shampoo, conditioner, diapers, wipes, children’s toys, books in Spanish, art supplies, lightly used kids shoes.
