You're welcome to visit a few club meetings based on the time and place that works for your schedule. Sample the public speaking waters and see how our diverse, friendly community is a great way to connect and make new friends!
Toastmasters International is a worldwide community with proven speaking and communication programs to take scared public speakers, self-professed introverts and unskilled managers and grow them into confident, competent, and even amazing leaders and presenters — all at your own pace, based on your own goals.
We're a non-profit, so we're cheap to join, and all we really want is for you to come grow in our safe environment, joining our supportive and amazing community!

This event is tailored specifically for anyone looking to enhance their leadership abilities and self-empowerment through effective storytelling and engaging presentations. Learn valuable techniques for impromptu speaking and gain confidence in expressing yourself in any setting.
We meet virtually every Thursday, and on the last Thursday of every month, our meetings are hybrid at the San Leandro Public Library.

During Table Topics, at a recent meeting, we were asked what we felt was the biggest communication problem or challenge. What would you answer in a fast moment? Table topics will challenge you to think quickly without preparation.
At our upcoming meeting, we will have a prepared speech, and a speech evaluation. The Grammarian and Wizard of Ah's will listen for turns of phrases and the use of filler words.
You will also hear tips on public speaking skills at our upcoming meeting. Whether you're a seasoned traveler or just looking for some adventure from the comfort of your home, this event is perfect for you. You will be able to connect with people during our Impromptu Speaking section of the meeting called Table Topics.
Toastmasters is all about communication excellence, and for 100 years and counting, Toastmasters have been expressing themselves better, practicing, and evaluating in a fun club environment, shining all around the world.
